Michael Cumbo is a Towson University graduate who completed his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management with a Business Administration Minor. His early hospital and skilled nursing experience introduced him to interdisciplinary teams and patient care, where his interest expanded into qualitative care improvements in the hospital setting. Consequently, this led to his pursuit of a healthcare management degree. As a Data analyst, he does freelance work, creates executive-level dashboards, and presents information to help executives and managers understand the operational impacts of the data. He works with Tableau and SQL to develop business rules, context data flow diagrams, and relationship diagrams. This experience expanded his interest to advance his career as a Data Scientist; he continues to expand his SQL and R programming by completing a Google Data Analytics Certification.
