I’m proud to work for the province of Antwerp. For more than 26 years I was Head ICT Tourism Department. We realized several relevant digital projects such as a cycle route planner. Since 2015 I’m the ICT Expert of Campus Vesta, the Knowledge Centre of the province of Antwerp for police, fire fighter corpses, private companies and public bodies dealing with public safety and security. By education we create better cooperation on the field between aid workers. Next to that we welcome every year more than 6.000 commercial participants for corporate incident first response workshops, communication trainings, CPR, etc. ⁞ ⁞ ⁞Providing our clients high standard safety education requires significant teamwork behind the scenes. I supervise 300 company computers. We aim at improving access to education and knowledge. For that reason I manage the E-Learning Strategy and optimize our open-source Digital E-learning Platform Chamilo. I perform advanced systems security administration functions, including creating educational profiles and accounts in conjunction with the latest security guidelines. I program in .NET frameworks, I write as much scripts as possible for repetitive administrative processes and I keep track of malware and virus security protection. I’m passionate about driving innovative solutions. Creating educational networks and classrooms for police cybercrime courses is a pleasure!⁞ ⁞ ⁞I’m a proactive person and I dare to challenge the status quo. During my career I improved my ability to lead workshops and translate business needs to architecture requirements. My strengths are my communication and well-developed consultancy skills combined with a healthy hands-on mentality. ⁞ ⁞ ⁞In my leisure time I enjoy researching to power up my knowledge and technical skills. I like to broaden my mind, evolve my thinking and stay sharp. Besides that I’m a family man and nothing beats long nature walks or philosophy talks with my best friends and loved ones.
