Working for several different customers, implementing several web-based applications and services, including:- SugarCRM development- Creation of customized web shops- Integration of several legacy services with state-of-the-art services- Extensions and maintenance for several CMSs for a large agricultural innovator- Front-end and back-end development of a holiday home portal with 200k+ holiday homes

As a data scientist at the Fraud & Cybersecurity tribe of the ING Bank, I collaborated on several fraud prevention and detection models.

At BrixCRM I have customized SugarCRM for multiple customers. I have also coupled this application with several other legacy and modern applications.

On December 10th, 2015, I defended my thesis called "Geosocial Recommender Systems". My research was around recommendations based on social media activities and geographic information systems (GIS), for the recommendation of location-bound objects, such as real estate or holiday homes.This research was workpackage 6 in the timetrails subproject of COMMIT/.During my PhD, I participated in several committees/boards related to academia:- 2015-present: Advisory Board of the PhD Candidate Network of the Netherlands (PNN)- 2013-2015: President of the PhD Candidate Network of the Netherlands (PNN)- 2012-2015: CTIT Institution Council Member- 2012-2015: User advisory committee Library & Archive of the University of Twente- 2012-2014: University Council Member of the University of Twente (President of the Finances, Personnel, and Operations committee)- 2012-2013: Secretary of the PhD Candidate Network of the Netherlands (PNN)- 2011-2013: Board member / Secretary of the PhD Network University of Twente (P-NUT)

Through Carthago ICT, I worked at BrixCRM.

At Lely, I was responsible for the technical maintenance of lely.com, lelycenter.com and three extranets.

Java programmer, mainly working on an insurance and payment webservice for TSi's holiday booking system.

Java programmer, mainly working on Mag's own CMS: MagMMBase.

Internship in the department TI-220 (Quality Management of CKD Production).

Translating part-time from German to Dutch and from Dutch to German.
