As a teammanager I was responsible for supervising the Business Support Team. I kept the team motivated, focused and on track. In this role I was responsible for producing team results and conducting performance reviews. Furthermore, I was responsible for budgeting and a number of projects within the Individual Life Insurance market.The Business Support Team supports the Individual Life Insurance closed book operational department and its management. It does so by: - guaranteeing business and processes to be compliant to external and internal standards; - preparing and supporting internal and external audits (e.g. SOx and Solvency);- providing and reporting management information; - improving business processes and implement (IT) changes;- coordinating and addressing customer complaints; and, - providing general legal counsel.

At the Structuring department I have worked on very interesting client transactions and successfully written my MSc Finance & Investments thesis.- I wrote a thesis about Residential Mortgage Backed Securities and the role and cost dynamics of interest rate swaps and hedging techniques (title of thesis: "Comparing cost of funding for fixed & floating bonds: The cost dynamics of swaps in Dutch RMBS transactions" http://hdl.handle.net/2105/21679)- I was Involved in advisory and structuring transactions where my tasks among others included financial modeling, performing credit analyses and working on presentations about structured finance solutions for NIBC's clients- After finishing my thesis in December 2012 I was asked to stay on for another three months to work on a client transaction where my tasks included financial modeling and credit analyses. Due to the size of the portfolio containing large corporate and SME loans, standard analyzing tools and approaches were not applicable which demanded creative and practical solutions

Intern at Asset Liability Management/Treasury department - Asset Based Funding- During my internship I assisted with structuring RMBS transactions by researching selection criteria for mortgage portfolios- I performed monthly checks on investor reports of the RMBS transactions and examined the proper implementation of SOX controls at the Asset Based Funding department- I was responsible for preparing documentation of Quarterly figures from the Asset Based Funding department for audit purposes
