Vinod is the head of worldwide partnerships at Cohere, the leading AI platform for enterprise applications. We are backed by Index Ventures, NVIDIA, Salesforce Ventures, Oracle, Radical Ventures, Section 32, and other prominent investors.Prior to Cohere, Vinod was a member of the GTM leadership team and led the business development and partnerships organization at Confluent. During his tenure, Confluent tripled revenue, conducted a successful IPO (NASDAQ: CFLT), and accelerated its path to profitability by multiple quarters.Before he became an operator, Vinod was a Partner at Deloitte, where he built and managed the firm's business with hyper-growth software companies. He collaborated closely with the leadership teams at these companies to tackle complex ‘growing pains’ related to GTM decisions, scaling, execution discipline, business model changes, and organizational dynamics. Prior to his consulting career, Vinod held multiple roles in engineering and corporate development at Nextel as the company quadrupled its revenue in 4 years. Earlier, he conducted applied research for NASA's Earth-observing satellites.Vinod holds advanced degrees in business management and engineering.
