Students are humans first! I won’t rest until that message is heard, acknowledged, and acted upon. I’m a social justice warrior whose biggest strengths are community building, creating and providing engaging instruction across subject levels for adolescents and young adults, and providing therapy for adolescents and adults. Trained in social work and educational and nonprofit leadership, I am a life long learner with 5 degrees and counting along with numerous workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities across the years. I am an expert in urban education at the high school level- especially in the case of students of color, students with disabilities, non traditional students, students who experience trauma, and struggling students. I am also a licensed master social worker with emphasis on trauma, chronic suicidality, and forensics.
