As the head of design, I researched trends, created themes, mood boards, original concept sketches, color story, fabric and trim selections to meet the specific needs of our niche market. Created all the samples, paterns, grading, trim and fabric selections. Performed all fit sessions while altering any fit issues. Prepared tech packs, and spec sheets with the assistant designer to ensure it met manufacturer’s standards. Worked directly with supply vendors and communicated clear production guidelines with contracted international manufacturers. Designed and produced collections according to set budgets and deadlines. Directed various creative projects such as photo shoots, website design, email marketing, social media marketing, and branding.Notable Achievements:Started a Kickstarter campaign goal for $10k to produce a small collection, and with my direction of the marketing and the design of the brand and product raised $22K. Increased our sales from our 1st year launch by over 150% and maintained a product return rate of less than 7%. We were able to reduce our overhead cost from our first year by more than 45%.

As creative director I developed and managed all creative aspects from brand vision and goals, event marketing, menu design, digital marketing and photography. Provided direction and guidance to the Chef/Owner for media interviews, features on radio stations to new networks on televisions, local newspaper and online press releases.Essential in developing and implementing new systems for improved work efficiency of the food truck. As Creative Director for the Noodle World Tour event co-organized by Bochi’s Chef, my digital marketing contribution increased Facebook page impressions and attendance conversion by 150% from past events at the venue.

As designer for an original intimate line, I researched trends and created clear design mood, color sheet, and sketches that would meet the budget and still target the needs and wants of the customers. Worked with silks, silk blends, spandex, jersey, knits, lycra, and lace to design unique intimate garments. Built relationship with boutiques, suppliers and vendors. Worked directly with suppliers for swatches, color, trims and fabric sourcing to get the best price for product sampling and production to meet budget goals.Developed tech pack, spec sheets and constructed all design samples, patterns, grading, and sizing for contracted sewers.Directed and photographed all photo-shoots, and performed all post editing of images that were used in marketing and line sheets.

The Little GymDesigned and produced dancewear leotards, theme, color, fabrics and trim selections for kids ages 3-7. Developed patterns, sizing and produced all 39 dance suits within a week deadline. Melody Publishing CoDesigned and created a unique theater production for a children play. I produced each set from original sketches and concepts for the stories as well as making it mobile by using only large foam core. I was responsible for the theme development, set design, color selections, and construction.
