A passionate journalist with multimedia skills and working experiences on geopolitic, labour, migrant and environmental patches for international, national and local media. Trained for frontline reporting and data journalism. A journalist since 2006, working full time for several national media in Indonesia and Hong Kong e.g Jurnal Nasional, Kontan, and SUARA-HK Publication, and freelancing for several international media e.g Thompson Reuters Alert Net, IPS, Greenpeace Indonesia, BBC Indonesia and Columbia Journalism Review. Growing up as ethnic minority in Indonesia under authoritarian military regime made her believes in the value of freedom of expression and equal rights for public to access information. She has been member of journalists organisation of AJI Jakarta, Society of Indonesian Environmental Journalists, Hong Kong Journalists Association.She is equipped with international press card from International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) since 2020. From 2007-2012, she was awarded with international and regional fellowships on climate change, politics and economy reporting from Internews, IIJ-Inwent Germany, UNEP and UNFCCC.In 2021, she was awarded with International Vice Chancellor Scholarship from Newcastle University to study postgraduate of International Multimedia Journalism.Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Japanese.
