Worked full-time for the surface navigation team on the following projects:- Continuation of internship project to produce bit parsing programs compatible with several software and many of the commonly used navigational information interfaces of the team. Drastically improved test analysis time (>%50) for all projects working with these interfaces. Developed documentation and guides to allow other engineers to continue project following my structure for any applicable interface in the future.- Worked on project to revamp the entire navigational unit software suite to move away from older hardware and update older software. Learned about and modified ~90% of existing software files for the navigational unit and added new systems as well. Contributed to strategy and execution of software improvement by providing team with information regarding systems including some older than what anyone currently on the team would have knowledge on, assessing this information, and providing suggestions for structural changes given modern contexts. As one of the two main engineers working on the software development for this project, assisted the other engineer, a fresh hire, with the details of our product specifics and the requisite information for working on the project. Adapted existing software systems to interface with new hardware, and new RTOS with large differences in capability while allowing for backward compatibility. Restructured and improved software organization to utilize object-oriented programming and removed obsolete code. Found and helped resolve software bugs and misconfigurations with the Kalman filter and system security. Improved functionality of filesystem and file transfer protocols.

Assisting the surface navigation and sensors team of Honeywell Aerospace on the following projects: - Worked on a solo project to design a binary-to-message translation program interfacing directly with Wireshark software. Targeted main message interfaces of the product allowing for automated translation of information in real-time. This program was used regularly after completion by team's engineers in data analysis of large message repositories, reducing data processing times by >%50 thus expediting software update testing and bug investigation
