As a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma, I support the faculty and students in the cultural anthropology department, facilitating online and in-person classes, grading assignments, and providing feedback. I am passionate about public health and human rights, and I apply my academic knowledge and skills to advocate for reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial justice in various platforms and campaigns.I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology from William & Mary, where I graduated with honors and published multiple papers on topics such as gender and sexuality, migration and diaspora, and indigenous cultures. I also have over five years of customer service experience in retail, sales, and human resources, where I developed and demonstrated my de-escalation, communication, multi-tasking, problem-solving, training, and leadership skills. I am eager to continue my learning and growth as a cultural anthropologist and activist, and to contribute to the advancement of social justice and human dignity.
