The role entails designing new experimental procedures as per project requirements and executing them within agreed timelines. The Scientist is also responsible for documenting data as per project requirements. The Scientist's work involves conducting literature surveys of medicinal herbals, formulating flow charts for active substance extraction and isolation of medicinal herbals, and developing them from R&D level to pilot plant to production level. The Scientist also possesses expertise in formulating liposomal vitamins and minerals as per customer preference and can undertake formulation activities using bioactive herbal ingredients, such as skin care, hair care, slim care, body-built care, etc.The Scientist is also proficient in the semi-synthesis of active key molecules and their derivatives, with regioselective derivatives of specific highly active key molecules. Additionally, the Scientist performs air-sensitive reactions with phytochemical active molecules to obtain better efficacy molecules for different cell lines and enzyme inhibition or activation purposes. The Scientist uses analytical tools like mass, UV, IR, and mono and 2D NMR to predict the structure of active molecules from secondary metabolites. The Scientist uses various methods of analysis of phytochemical constituents, such as TLC, HPTLC, HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, UV, and NMR. Furthermore, they develop methods of lower assay to higher assay of the active substance from whole extraction. The Scientist adjusts medicinal herbal active ingredients to the required content of constituents by knowing biological activity within the frame of tolerance, which can be achieved by the blending method. The Scientist adheres to ISO, USDA, NSF, UKAS, and HALAL guidelines to ensure quality and safety. Show less
