My name is Vedant Nilabh and I am a masters student at northeastern university studying Artificial Intelligence. .I am currently doing research focused on machine learning at the khoury college of computer science, and am working on a project related to deep weight spaces. My interests are wide spanning, but currently I’ve been really interested in the fields of geometric and topological deep learning. I’m also interested in pursuing a phD focusing on machine learning in these areas . I also interned at Gm Financial over the summer in the Mlops team, focusing on gpu infrastructure partitioning for compute intensive tasks, such as LLM fine tuning, Beyond academics, I was also an officer in the AI club at SMU, where we spread knowledge of AI tools for both the technical and non technical, as knowing how to use these tools is becoming essential for everyone. I believe that acquiring knowledge is important, but something that is equally important is using that knowledge to try to help people, to build AI systems and do research that is responsible and meaningful to society.
