Hi, I'm Vedant Shah, currently pursuing my Master's in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, with a specialization in Data Science and its Applications.I have previously worked for almost a year as a Junior Security Analyst at Security Theorem. I performed Web Application Testing and Network Security Testing for companies.Completing my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at L.J Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ahmedabad, gave me the base for my future endeavours.My passion for working with data brought me to the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science to learn more about data science, data analytics, and data management. My goals during my time at UTD are to expand my technical skills, get some insights into real-world use of technologies, as well as build a strong network with equally passionate people.Currently, I am expanding my knowledge of Python, R, and Statistics for Data Science, Machine Learning and looking forward to learning more advanced topics like Data Visualization, Database Design, Big Data Analytics in the upcoming semesters. I am actively looking for an internship in a Data Scientist/Data Analyst/Software Developer role to get hands-on experience in the Data Science and Software Development field.
