She read the facts of each case and came prepared with questions about the issues being litigated. I don’t recall an instance in which Vedika failed to show up at team meetings without pen and paper; sit in on team meetings without listening and taking notes; and leaving team meetings without following up with me or her director. I appreciated that. At a personal level, I find Vedika to be an emotionally intelligent, intellectually curious, and articulate person. While at NERA, Vedika always maintained a professional decorum and, to my knowledge, never had a harsh word to say about anyone. When she spoke, Vedika chose her words carefully; when she wrote, Vedika crafted sentences that were plain, concise, grammatical, and logically connected.
