I'm a passionate and visionary leader seeking to make equitable social change happen. I care deeply about the environment and am seeking a role in the climate change and sustainability arena where I can bring my entrepreneurial mindset, wide-ranging skills, strategic insight and proven ability to execute in order to make a positive impact. It was my privilege to found and run Project Feast - a nonprofit with a mission to help refugees and immigrants transform their lives through pathways to employment in the food industry and to enrich our communities through intercultural exchange. It was important to me to ground the program model in a Funds of Knowledge approach, focusing on the strengths and skills of refugees and immigrants with belief in their huge potential and leadership ability.My personal values include: authenticity, integrity, courage, equity, working from a place of empowerment, and focusing on long-term outcomes. I love collaborating with others who are authentic, keen to learn and grow constantly, able to see the bigger picture and who are guided by a strong set of values.
