Marriage presented an opportunity to move to Belgium. I took the time to do a few different things while waiting for the visa process.I went out of my comfort zone and worked at a Cycle shop (Bums on the Saddle) - Got some in-store retail experience and met a lot of cycling enthusiasts. I also helped out with a Start up (Bazinga Box) an educational activity kit for kids with its promotions.After moving to Belgium, i soaked in the new world by travelling, understanding the day to day life, keeping fit and applying for new opportunities.

We target three main customer segments – Traders (Resellers), SCO’s (service, companies and office) and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants and caterers) through tailor made promotions and communication strategy.Communication and Branding Related: Develop and manage the various mediums of communications like ATL (Above the Line – Print Ads), SMS blast (Message services), catalogs, leaflets, fliers and use them effectively for specific regions and target customers.Key Projects:Health Care initiative * Conducted primary research across Bangalore and Hyderabad to understand the Pharmacy customer. The research involved an in-depth interview of over 100 target customers to understand their buying behavior, product assortment requirements, average bill value, service expectations, margin expectations etc* Partnered with Reckitt Benckiser in creating a health care zone within Metro to grow the sales of OTC products and increase buying customers in Pharmacy segment*Based on research we trimmed the assortment, designed the planogram (fixtures and product placement) and a communication strategy to increase walk-ins.
