• Infinity Foundation is a leading Think Tank founded by noted author and public intellectual Rajiv Malhotra which works in the domain of Wisdom, Compassion and inter-civilizational dialogue.• Conducted background research, editing and analysis on the topic - India's Grand Narrative which aims at providing a coherent narrative of India as a nation and Civilization across ages. It also aims to provide a set of ideas for re-imagining India in 21st Century. • Studied and analyzed Indian history, culture and religion, important sections of Indian scriptures, modern thinkers, active ideological forces in India, and entities which shape our understanding about India, other nations, modernity and inter-civilizational interactions. • Output: Book draft.

• Centre for Civil Society is India’s leading Think Tank which conducts policy research and pilot projects in the fields of Education and Livelihood.• Led a research pilot project named SANDHI which aims at provision of objective information about schools on certain parameters to parents and understand its effect on parental choice and competition among schools.• Developed School Parameters through community consultation. 25+ Community Meetings involving 2,000 parents and 35 influencers were organized.• Developed partnerships with local Labour Unions, NGOs, Political Parties, Army Veterans, Health Workers and 45 Schools.• Created comprehensive Education Map of research locality containing detailed information about 84 schools. • Data Collection process involved Proficiency test of 1321 grade-4 students, 25 Classroom observations, 36 school leader surveys, 50 Student and Teacher FGDs and 3055 Household Surveys. • Data dissemination involved 45 days of intensive campaign using 5 battery run Rickshaws, Information Kiosks, IVRS and nearly 3000 home visits. • Organized 1 Big event involving Education Minister of Delhi (Manish Sisodia). • Developed partnerships with relevant agencies for data collection, data analysis and data dissemination campaign.

• Incubated at SIDBI Innovation and Incubation Center IIT Kanpur• Procured Seed Money of 25 lakhs from SIIC IIT Kanpur.• Major Projects:1. Developed Plasma Tomography Set-up for Nuclear Physics Lab IIT Kanpur2. Computational Analysis of design of Helium Tether for Aerostats. 3. Developed, deployed and operated City Wide sensor network for Air Quality Monitoring and provided data over web and mobile. Selected as Finalist for State level Award. 4. Advocated for a Municipal Complaint Management System. Designed the system through extensive consultation with Municipal Staff and Citizens. Developed web and mobile apps for citizens and municipal staff. Deployed the system and trained the Municipal Staff.5. Designed, developed and deployed a Complaint Management System for IIT Kanpur; trained maintenance staff. 6. Prepared a Detailed Project Report for Integrated Municipal Waste Management of Kanpur City and proposed it to the agency which managed municipal waste of Kanpur City. Proposal targeted resource optimization, improving service quality and ensuring citizen satisfaction in this process. 7. Developed Mobile and Web Apps for Social Media, Project Management and real-time fan based Video Streaming of live events and surveys. 8. Developed various sensor based devices for machine health, environment and aerospace.

Formed Teams which developed an Automatic Paper Plate Making Machine and Mechanical Harvesting Machine.3. Conceptualized the idea of Knowledge Maps and demonstrated Knowledge Map for Blacksmiths in Kanpur.4. Matribhoomi is the Founding Partner of Rural Technology Action Group IIT Kanpur. 5. Awarded 2nd Prize in New Innovation Category at All India Farmers Fair and Agriculture industry Exhibition 2012We have presently stopped any project or activity.

• Campaigned aggressively among students, faculty, alumni, industries and other government bodies for establishment of Independent Student Consulting Body. Formed and nurtured teams. Organized several Industry-Academia Meets to bring stakeholders to a common place. • Developed a formal structure including Constitution, Service Level Agreements and Standard Rules & Policies so that students can go and work in various types of industries as well as work upon their own ideas. • IIT Kanpur earmarked a Budget of Rs. 1-2 crores for Technology Demonstrations for student ideas. • Conceptualized and Launched UTTHAN (Innovation Quality and Productivity Enhancement Program for Industries) under which more than 50 Industrial Projects were executed to enhance Quality & Productivity of MSMEs through low cost operational improvements. Most of the projects were in Plastics, Automobile Ancillary Parts, Paints, Hosiery and Bakery.• Coordinated participation of IIT Kanpur in IBM University Jam for Sustainable Planet. Prepared and proposed the concept of Zero Water Communities which was widely discussed. Ref: Page 8, IBM University Jam Summary Report. • Formed a Team which did detailed Scientific Research and ground data collection to make IIT Kanpur a Zero Water Campus. Proposed a Plan to IIT Kanpur which aimed at reducing dependency on underground water by up to 85%.• Formed a Team to study and find alternative construction materials which have low ecological footprint. • Formed a Team and partnered with Innosium Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to develop Automatic Passenger Counting System for State Government (UPSRTC) Buses to check revenue thefts. Prototype developed, Tested and Demonstrated.• Formed a Team and partnered with Survey of India and Geokno Pvt. Ltd. to deploy Information Kiosks at various places in Delhi during Commonwealth Games. Prototype developed, Tested and Demonstrated.• Conceptualized and launched Alumni Mentorship Program of IIT Kanpur.
