I run sewing classes and workshops online and in-person. I’ve costumed shows for Italia Conti, one of Britain's leading performing arts schools and multi-award winning Rickmansworth Players. From a young age, I had a passion for sewing, starting with making clothes for my dolls. I honed my skills and expanded into creating competition ballroom dance dresses and wedding gowns.In a career shift, I joined my father's business, assisting with a joint venture involving a groundbreaking engine invention. However, external factors led to the project's cancellation, prompting me to pursue a PA role at a global engineering company. There, I taught myself web development and successfully built a benchmark website for the company.After ten years, I founded a Virtual Admin (VA) business, supporting small business owners with admin and online marketing tools. I became skilled in various web technologies, advising clients on effective strategies for growing their businesses.Around five years ago, my passion for sewing reignited, and I began volunteering as a costume supervisor for theatre productions. I led a growing team of sewers and received recognition for my costume work, including multiple award-winning shows.In 2022, I was hired by The Chiltern Open Air Museum to lead costume creation for their Inhabited Houses project, covering various historical periods. Concurrently, I launched online sewing programs and started teaching in-person sewing classes for beginners.
