Moses acts as a corporate generalist in support of Hershey’s commercial function across the United States and continues to support Hershey’s Chocolate World and Global Licensing businesses globally. He is responsible for providing legal advice and counseling on a wide variety of commercial matters, including sales and marketing issues, commercial disputes, regulatory and intellectual property matters, distribution relationships and agreements, data privacy, and general commercial contracts. He also continues to be responsible for helping to advance Hershey’s digitization and e-commerce initiatives.

He was also responsible for helping to advance Hershey’s digitization and e-commerce initiatives in responsible jurisdictions.

As a member of the senior leadership team of Harsco's Industrial Division, Moses represented the division in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including commercial transactions, M&A, regulatory compliance, IP strategies, policies and implementation. Moses also served as the lead on US domestic issues and collaborated with international regional counsels on issues outside of the US.

Temporary assignment developing short- and long-term operating strategies for Harsco's law department and implemented and supported solutions that addressed the department’s needs in the areas of financial management, outside counsel and vendor management, human resources, systems and technology, and knowledge management. After completing this assignment, Moses resumed the role of Counsel (January 2015 to March 2015).

Responsible for advising on, negotiating, drafting and interpreting documents in commercial transactions in North America, supporting M&A transactions, assisting with SEC reporting and providing day-to-day legal advice and support to business teams on a variety of legal matters.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Moses Vejil joined Bingham McHale (presently Bingham Greenebaum Doll) as an attorney in 2009, and was a member of the firm’s Government and Business Advisory departments. His practice focused on business transactions, utility regulation, entity selection and formation, contract drafting and review, and attorney trust account disciplinary matters. He was a summer associate with Bingham McHale in the summers of 2007 and 2008.

As a summer law clerk, Moses prepared memoranda on specific legal issues and in opposition to motions filed in felony cases. He also assisted a Deputy District Attorney in the preparation for and conducting of preliminary hearings.

Assignments included managing cross-functional teams performing subsurface and groundwater investigations, drafting a Federal Endangered Species Act Section 7 Habitat Conservation Plan, directing a small team that completed environmental assessments on numerous commercial and light manufacturing facilities, and coordinating and monitoring contractors in the removal of hazardous materials / waste from client facilities.

Managed the environmental and health and safety compliance of nine small, light industrial companies by performing environmental audits, obtaining / renewing permits (waste and stormwater), and preparing / updating their monitoring reports and plans.

As a Consultant in IMRglobal's Tokyo office, Moses directed a three-person team auditing the management of business critical securities databases in support of a financial product launch by Nikko SalomonSmithBarney (NSSB). As part of that assignment, he developed, drafted, and presented a management strategy for the databases to the Managing Director of NSSB’s technology organization.As an Associate in IMRglobal's Boston office (formerly FSJ, Inc.), he analyzed technical and business requirements for a system integration project at John Hancock Financial Services, Inc.
