Working in the catering department of the Royal Surrey County Hospital, I was in charge of catering to the needs of 25+ patients per shift.It was my responsibility to ensure that all the patients in my care received their meals on time and that the dietary requirement of each individual patient was met.Working part-time whilst being a student allowed me the unique experience of working on a wide range of wards, this ranged from working with children to working in cancer and stroke wards.
