About Velaphi Thipe

A passionate versatile and multi-skilled research scientist with experience and well-versed in the design, development, and discovery of functionalized tumor-specific and selective nanoparticles using green nanotechnology principles. A variety of palladium and gold nanoparticles for their selectivity and targeting of the prostate, breast, pancreatic, and other tumor cells have been evaluated. My extensive training in tissue culture for various in vitro nanoparticle investigations prompted by immunomodulatory properties of the developed nanoformulations to target splenic macrophages invoked via targeting nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway and macrophage activation (from pro-tumor M2 to anti-tumor M1 macrophage) for enhanced expression levels of anti-tumor cytokines (IL-12 and TNF-α) with concomitant reductions in the levels of pro-tumor cytokines (IL-10 and IL-6) for effective in vivo therapeutic efficacy in prostate tumor-bearing mice with less toxicity to normal tissue. My significant contribution to combating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil, attributable to my collaborative work with ScavMedical, a private company that provides the best solutions in medical and hospital products throughout the national territory through qualified hospital supply distributors, demonstrates that I am a quick, analytical, and creative thinker. The work has produced a patent (Registration number: BR 102021009290-4 A2) and a biocidal activity heat and moisture exchanger (HME Youfilter Ag®) indicated for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, anesthesia, sedation, or intensive care, and for filtering viruses that may contaminate ventilation equipment.Demonstrates tremendous zeal for new knowledge to accomplish remarkable scientific research for producing immunomodulatory interventions triggered by green nanotechnology-based nanomedicine agents for translation into value-added products that will ultimately serve humanity across the world.

Why Dr. Velaphi Thipe Loves TectonDr. Thipe is a research scientist and athlete who plays for a club soccer league in Columbia, Missouri. He incorporates boxing, animal flow, and cycling into his workout regime. Using a monitoring device 24/7 to track his performance analytics, Dr. Thipe has found that Tecton optimizes his workouts through improved hydration, physical endurance, and performance.Dr. Thipe has also experienced a noticeable increase in mental clarity from drinking Tecton. He advises people to drink Tecton in the morning before going to work or class, 30 minutes before exercising, and in the evening to achieve a state of tranquility to wind down the day.For Dr. Thipe, wellness is a way of life, not a one-time goal. He recognizes that starting a wellness journey can be overwhelming and recommends incorporating healthy habits into daily routines by prioritizing sleep, focusing on a balanced diet, and getting at least 20 minutes of physical activity every day. Most importantly, be kind to yourself and celebrate small victories in your wellness journey. Finally, make it fun and sustainable with Tecton, which contains exogenous ketones to help you through your wellness journey.
