Working as part of the Schlumberger Wireline Headquarter HR team, assigned to the “Schlumberger Middle East and Asia Learning Center” was tasked with impart the introductory courses for new hires, this classes lasted for 12 weeks and covered all aspects of the wireline operations: Winch operation, Tool Theory and operation for petrophysics services, HSE, Basic log interpretation. Responsibilities also include to revise and update training and procedural literature use in worldwide operations

Led a team of over 46 persons between field engineers, crews and base support personnel provided Wireline services in Evaluation (Open Hole) and Production (Cased Hole) logging in five (5) countries of the Caribbean: Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, French Guyana, Guyana and Suriname. Operation environment covered the full spectrum of operation types available on the Oil &Gas: land, offshore Shallow and offshore Deepwater. Projects in Guyana and French Guyana were demanding due to their remote nature as no Oil & Gas infrastructure was present in this countries, resulting in complicated logistics to support this operations from Trinidad with a 5 days boat trip for equipment. Errors in logistics or operations had to be out of the equation as the cost for nonproductive time was prohibiting with a daily rig cost of over 1M$ for our clients.Job required motivation skills in order to maintain a high moral between the employees due the stress level generated for such high profile projects and long time away from home. Team spirit was a requirement as cooperation between our sales, maintenance and logistic group was essential for success in such a complicated environment and with limited resources.
