Independent ResearcherIwmi-Sa (International Water Management Institute, Southern Africa Office Oct 2003 - May 2004In collaboration with the University of Pretoria and the Water Research Commission I conducted two research projects. (1) The documentation of an innovative approach of an Irrigation Management Transfer (IMT) programme being implemented at 114 smallholder irrigation systems; and (2) a detailed case study on water governance in a farmer managed irrigation system, two years after IMT.
