Velina Tchakarova is a geopolitical strategist and certified strategic foresight expert with over twenty five years of professional experience and academic background in the field of security and defense. Before founding her geopolitical consulting company FACE, Velina Tchakarova served as the Director of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) in Vienna, Austria. She also shared her expertise as an instructor at the Real-World Risk Institute under the direction of best-selling author Nassim Taleb. Currently, she is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of European Forum Alpbach, the Advisory Board of Eastern Circles, Vienna Business Forum, the WICCI EU-India Business Council, the Strategic and Security Policy Advisory Board of the Science Commission at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defense and the peer board of the Austrian Defence Horizon Journal.
