I have always been fascinated with seeing just how far I could push the envelope. Whether it is flying down a snowy hillside on my snowboard or launching myself and my bike off a cliff, seeing just how much I can extend the limits of what is possible has always excited me. This drive has helped me not only excel in my recreational activities, but also throughout my professional life. Currently, I am Manager at Ernst & Young, with over 8 years of experience, focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable cloud-based web applications. While at EY, I got the opportunity to focus on further developing my backed developer skillset. I was able to accomplish this by working on multiple Spring-based Java applications, by writing REST APIs that interacted with relational and NoSQL databases, and by developing database solutions to store and retrieve financial information. Throughout my professional life, I have been able to create and implement technology solutions currently being used by Penn State, entrepreneurs, EY, and multiple major financial institutions.
