About Velma D Davison
Velma Dowdy Davison was born and raised in Mississippi, but moved to Texas as fast as she could! After graduating from Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Velma began a long and successful career in the financial industry in Dallas, TX which included being hired in personnel at Greyhound Temporary Personnel from there to Otis Elevator through several promotions becoming the Assistant Comptroller for the Dallas Museum of Art and working as the Office & Payroll Manager for Art & Commerce Company. Velma opened JVMA Financial Services in 1997 to serve businesses and individuals in the Dallas area and has had the privilege of serving her clients ever since. In her spare time, Velma enjoys community service and spending time with her family.
