Product management for most secure mobile phones: Bittium Tough Mobile and Bittium Tough Mobile 2. Responsibilities has been from device requirements to road-mapping of future device releases, sales and marketing, device strategy planning and executing, pricing, feature prioritization, working in direct customer interfaces etc. all kind of product management responsibility tasks.

Software project manager for Bittium made Satellite & LTE hybrid Android mobile phones (totally three different satellite phone models). Software for devices were made starting from co-operation with customer to define requirements to final delivery of products for customers special satellite network. I managed all software work done related to these devices through project organization containing several teams, created and optimized highly automated and lean software development processes to be able to deliver these devices on a time for really demanding customer satellite network.

* Managed project where totally new mobile phone UX with many built in services were implemented for Android to big customer. Project were most important project for Ixonos during that time and I were updated to it due to my experience of handling challenging situations where the project were when I joined to it. Project had Asian customer and work included travelling to customer country, tight co-operation with customer and also contractual negotiations. * Managed project and did SW architectural tasks on a project where we modified Android platform to totally new hardware concept. Project included heavy modifications for most critical parts of whole Android platform, like WindowManager, ActivityStack etc... from the HW integration to UI layer.* Managing project/program porting of whole mobile phone software platform to originally unsupported HW configuration, including also updates to content of device SW. Work was done on several sites in and outside of Finland and in customer interface. As an achievement we did two production releases for that mobile phone, both are published and widely used by customers around the world.* Managing application factory program implementing several applications parallel on several different sites globally on challenging customer interfaces. Applications were made for many customers and services and for different mobile device platforms.

Steering and monitoring of Ixonos EMEA production in several selected business areas.Responsibilities included e.g. Being member on business teams leading business in responsibility area. Organizing, managing and training service management sub organization to business areas. Assuring delivery and quality of most important projects on responsibility business areas through service management. Being responsible of EMEA area application production. Coaching Service and project managers to resolve difficult situations on projects to improve production quality. Resourcing and building production back end for new project opportunities. Production quality improvement planning and actions. Sales support activities from direct customer contacting to project planning. Program owner for internally used project follow up tool. etc.

Working as full day person on Ixonos Oulu site management. Including all kind of site and line management tasks on Oulu site and site level production management. Site and line management work has included eg: Being member of Oulu site management board. Being Oulu site manager substitute. Managing group of mainly project managers group (20+ persons). Handling Oulu site SW development resourcing. Being responsible of Oulu subcontracting. Being responsible of Oulu site personnel trainings. Keeping work interviews. Acceptance of invoicing. Being responsible of trainees and trained several groups of trainees to different technologies & Ixonos customer project work. Trained several Project managers for PM work. Production management work:Being responsible for Oulu site management board of all Ixonos Oulu site sw development projects (project chief / project portfolio manager). Working as Project manager for several customer ETL projects. Managing program implementing several open source applications. Sales support work, e.g. planning projects / tenders and creating sales material. Participating to sales activities on customer interfaces. Organizing, keeping and participating for customer project steering groups.

Worked e.g. as project manager and scrum master for customer project containing +20 persons, which were implemented on several different Ixonos sites on Europe. Project had challenging customer interface and had several increments in production parallel. Project were done for Symbian S60 platform and did were multimedia related service application.

Worked as SW designer on crucial S40 platform components.
