I’m the CIO & IT-manager for Lapland Hospital District which is operating in the field of social and health care. Lapland Hospital District is central hospital for 15 northernmost municipalities in Finland. I lead Lapland Hospital District’s IT operations, overseeing a team of 22 IT-professionals and managing the annual budget. I feel truly privileged to be actively managing the change in current Finnish social and health care –reform. In this change process digitalization has been stated as a key factor for reorganization. In my current position I can have a significant role and part in this reform through meaningful innovations and change management.My previous employment history in IT field has been Senior Lecturer of IT courses in University of Applied Sciences in Turku, IT Manager of University of Lapland, IT designer and programmer in Geological Survey of Finland.I’m truly passionate about my work and always focused to achieve benefits to my clients. My strategy is to find the best solution to fulfil client’s business objectives.
