“A Technical Trainer with Animation skills”.With over 32 years of extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, I am honored to introduce myself as a dedicated Training Services Director with a profound background in Petroleum, Gas, Process Engineering, and Refinery Operations. My journey began in 1992 within the Refining & Petrochemicals sector in India, and since then, I have held various leadership positions globally, spanning Plant Operations, Technical Services, and Training Services.Throughout my career, I have been deeply passionate about the art of training, and in 2006, I transitioned from Plant Operations to spearhead Technical & Training Services. This shift not only allowed me to harness my expertise in Process, Operations, HSE, Projects, and Economics but also provided me with a platform to innovate in the realm of training methodologies.A unique aspect of my approach lies in my proficiency as a "Technical Trainer with Animation skills". Leveraging my hobby in animation, I have transformed traditional Refinery Process Units and Hydrocarbon chemistry training programs into dynamic 2D and 3D Animation formats. This modernized approach to training has proven highly effective, particularly among the younger generation of Engineers and Operation staff, facilitating ease of understanding and knowledge retention.Over the years, I have collaborated with international oil companies across the APAC & EMEA regions, contributing to the commissioning of numerous major projects with industry giants such as UOP and Dow Chemicals. As a Training Specialist, I have had the privilege of mentoring over 3,000 Operators and Engineers from diverse backgrounds & 27 different nationalities, spanning Far-East, Middle East, and European regions.One of the hallmarks of my career has been my ability to identify training needs within Operations departments and develop tailored programs utilizing Animation to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer. Beyond Refinery Process Units training, I also offer a spectrum of specialized programs encompassing Refinery Business Economics, HSE, On-The-Job, Simulator, Soft skills & Management Training programs.It brings me immense satisfaction to witness the growth and success of my trainees, with many ascending to managerial positions within their organizations, including a Vice President at ORPIC. My commitment to excellence in training remains unwavering as I continue to strive towards empowering individuals & organizations with the knowledge & skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of the Oil & Gas industry.
