I am a fourth year undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Physiological Science on track to receive a bachelor of science degree in June 2021. I am passionate about minority representation in education, diversity in healthcare, and developing solutions to combat insufficiencies in the hospital. My other interests lie at the intersection of medicine and business and environmental health. My perspective on real-world problems rarely follows the conventional idea that a single, simple cause produces an outcome. Instead, I value approaches that address several factors that can contribute to an issue.I have a background in consulting in which my most recent position as Project Manager allowed me to explore sustainability in a hospital setting at UCLA Health. Along with my research team, I am in the process of composing a publication-quality manuscript on the power of the nurse role in interdisciplinary team rounding.
