It is a 'user identity switching service' that translates a grid identity, i.e. a signed certificate, into a local Unix account. ‣ Responsible for collecting and maintenance of security requirements.‣ Developed a scripting language and parser for LCMAPS in Yacc & Lex. It was well received by the end users. It became quite convenient for system administrators to get the Authorization working for their site and needs.‣ Extension and maintenance of Grid security software.The above work has been done within the following European project: DataGrid, EGEE-I and EGEE-II. The software was developed on Linux systems and C.Project: AntaresMr. Venekamp started within the Antares project. This is a neutrino experiment in the Mediterranean sea, 40 kilometer off the coast and 2.5 kilometers below sea level. It involved developing software and maintaining a farm located in Marseilles on which data coming from the off shore detector was collected and stored.‣ Developed a data streamer class for writing data to disk. Requirements and design were done with UML. Implementation was done in C++. Development was done on Linux.‣ Developed a disk space monitoring application in C++ and Qt.‣ Developed a logger which extended the C++ iostream classes.‣ Responsible for setting up and maintaining a small Linux farm.‣ He also tried to get the group to work on requirements and UML, but did not succeed.
