Integral designer, a interdisciplinary career focuses in detecting opportunities and creating strategies that has an economic, social and environmental impact. In 2015, Verónica graduated with honors for “Best degree project" where she had her first approach in Fashion design. The proyect, sought to empower native women through their craft and provide a solution to the burning of wool, that was affecting the Araucania region, in the south of Chile. In 2018, she started working at Falabella, a Retail company as Fashion designer. Meanwhile she took a sewing course to learn about the trade and the process behind the garments.She started making clothes with the samples of the Retail old collections that were thrown into the trash.Veronica founded VANDER in 2020, blending the "V" from her name, Veronica, with "ANDER" from her last name. VANDER is a sustainable fashion brand with a social impact, designed to address the socio-environmental issues generated by the fashion industry in recent decades. With a background in graphic design, her passion for clothing and the desire to create fashion sustainably led her to develop something that embodies her principles and aesthetic.
