Contract Compliance Officer (1986-1992)• Directed, coordinated and supervised all activities necessary to implement and monitor SEMTA's Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, and the Contract Compliance and Affirmative Action Programs, to meet Federal and State standards and to comply with the Authority's policies. • Prepared quarterly and annual EEO/AA reports to the Board of Directors, the Federal Transportation Authority, (FTA) and Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program, (OFCCP).• Served as a liaison between SEMTA and contractors, responsible for interpreting company policy, resolving contract disputes and monitoring equal employment opportunity requirements.Community Relations Representative (1984-1986)• Directly responsible for planning, setting in motion and maintaining cost efficient special transportation services. • Met regularly with elected officials and community groups to provide information regarding SEMTA funding and service for their particular areas. • Instrumental in the development of personalized curb-to-curb bus service for senior citizens and handicapper groups. • Served as guest speaker at the American Public Transit Association's National Conference in Portland, Oregon. • Production assistant for the SEMTA video documentary, "The Regional Consensus Plan".
