Vita Nova is an experiential hospitality lab at the University of Delaware teaching students about managing a hospitality business. As a Manager, my responsibilities included financials, marketing, events, strategic planning, policy implementation, customer service, vendor relations, restaurant technology and academic lab support. I also taught beverage management as an adjunct faculty and managed the Vita Nova beverage program. A fast-paced job with 2,000+ customers per year and over 100 students in the lab each week.

Fair Hill Inn was a nationally recognized, award-winning farm-to-table restaurant with an acre garden and in-house charcuterie and cheese production. My role included managing all marketing, financials, accounting and payroll in addition to customer service, staff training and helping as needed in the day-to-day operations. In 2009, the restaurant that won “Culinary Hospitality Restaurant of the Year” in the Mid-Atlantic by Sante Magazine.

Tutti Gusti was a high-end Northern Italian Restaurant and Tapas Bar where I was in charge of hiring, managing daily operations and managing financials, payroll and marketing. Sold the restaurant after increasing the value by over 50% to buy the Fair Hill Inn.

Developed and implemented marketing and internet strategies. Coordinated the development of Autoport’s first website. Created marketing materials such as brochures, presentations and product catalogs. Coordinated bids and negations for multimedia initiatives and marketing projects.

Wrote marketing and analytic reports for various trade routes. Planned, conducted and analyzed customer satisfaction surveys. Developed key performance and quality assurance measurements. Responsible for many collaboration projects in the areas of process control, logistics and quality management domestically and internationally.
