As an Operations Manager at Blitz Events, I was responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various events from start to finish. My role involved coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure that all aspects of the event were executed smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and expectations for the event.- Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for events.- Identifying and sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships- Coordinating with the design and production teams to ensure that all event materials and collateral were produced on time and to high-quality standards.- Managing event logistics including transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements.- Conducting site visits and liaising with venue management to ensure all event spaces were set up and ready for use.- Overseeing the onsite event team and ensuring that all staff were trained, motivated, and performing to high standards- Conducting post-event evaluations to identify improvement areas and recommend strategies for future events.
