Was part of the initial team at Max Hypermarkets India Pvt. Ltd. (Spar India). Involved in all the establishment activities of hypermarket projects, project feasibility, project design, retail store design and layout, tendering, execution, handing over. Was responsible for finalization of specifications and procurement of metal shelving and display fixtures for the hypermarkets. Conducted factory visits at Bangkok and interacted with several vendors from China, Italy, Europe. Designed and monitored the fabrication of customized fixtures at the vendor’s factory for the display of merchandise.Prepared BOQ and invited tenders, negotiated and awarded contracts in consultation with the VP – Projects.
