Mobile Banking Initiative: Technical Product Manager for initiative to provide complete suite of mobile banking services (mobile apps, SMS banking, Interactive Voice) using in-house technology and partners such as mFoundry, ClairMail, etc. Interactive Television: Technical Product Manager for Voice Alerts for Interactive Television applications (such as American Idol style Tele Voting). Wrote RFP and evaluated several potential Interactive Voice Response IVR partners.SMS and MMS gateways: Managed integration of several customers (such as Bank of America, etc.) to Verisign’s messaging gateways. This cross functional program/project management role involved coordinating business, engineering, and IT teams across Verisign and customers.

Role: Engineering Program Management, Product DevelopmentSprint Picturemail MMS: Engineering management of Sprint Multimedia Messaging System (MMS) service. This service performed real-time transcoding of messages and media to fit various end user mobile devices and also uploaded pictures to the Sprint Picturemail website. I worked with a cross functional team of on-site and offshore developers, QA, operations, and interfaced with customer management, engineering, and operations teams.Sprint Picturemail website: Managed website for Sprint's end users to edit and enhance their pictures, organize their pictures into albums, and form common interest groups. The site also interfaced with third party value added providers such as Fuji, Stamps.com, Ceiva picture frames, etc. We enabled Sprint marketing team to run campaigns and promotions by integrating a banner management tool from Adjuggler.Motorola Camera Phone: Developed imaging sensor driver and the entire imaging pipeline including auto-exposure, auto-focusing, auto white balance, color correction, and wavelet based (JPEG2000) compression on on ARM-based embedded system. Worked with camera sensor and optics vendors to optimize performance.

Reference Applications: Implemented several reference applications on Equator’s VLIW DSP for use by end customers such as Canon, Sony, Xerox. The applications included: H.263 Video Conferencing, JBIG lossless compression, Postscript. Optimizations included loop unrolling, software pipelining and use of SIMD instructions. Drove roadmap features with key end customers for incorporation into new Media DSP.

Digital TV and Printing: Developed modulation and processing techniques for TI’s Digital Light Processing (DLP) based Projection and Printing systems. Worked on Digital TV Pre- and Post- Processing algorithms. DSP based acceleration: Lead role in DSP based Raster Image Processing Acceleration for Adobe Postscript using TI’s Parallel Processing DSPs: C8x, C6x. Worked on optimization of MPEG2, H.261 video decoders on C8x, including fixed point implementations of DCT.
