Key Task,●Design and development of the Payload Delivery System for a VTOL aircraft utilizing a Winch-based Mechanism for efficient payload delivery and pickup.●Writing firmware for the sub-system to ensure reliable and optimized operation of the Payload Delivery System. ●Implementing wrappers for Mavlink protocol for communication of packets with the Flight Control Unit, enabling seamless integration and coordination with the aircraft's control system.●Exploring and customizing the Ardupilot flight stack to meet specific flight operation requirements, enhancing the overall performance and capabilities of the aircraft.●Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the Payload Delivery System with the overall aircraft architecture, contributing to the successful delivery of mission-critical operations.
