I founded Venn Arts in 2014, and we help creative teams unite their visual content with memorable songs. Our motto / guiding principle: Every Thing Has A Soundtrack.My work as a music supervisor (and human) hinges on processes and relationships. At the heart of both of these is listening.The approach I bring to listening to music is methodical and orderly. I bring a lot of joy to filtering and curating the songs that will one day become the voice and story behind powerful ads or standout cues in films and TV shows. The intention I bring to managing and maintaining relationships with both clients and key allies is also dependent on good listening. I strive for a balance of presence, compassion and an eye for detail so that I’m able to negotiate effectively in a formidable space where creativity and commerce overlap. And I adapt nimbly when a client comes to me with a new direction or unexpected challenge.The payoff for this emphasis on listening is clear in my results. I deliver projects on time and on budget.
