With more than 14 years of experience in this role, Ventura has established Advanced Music as a global reference in the music industry, attracting more than 125,000 festival goers, 20,000 professionals, and hundreds of artists and speakers every year.Ventura is passionate about fostering cultural experience, cutting edge arts and technological innovation, as well as supporting emerging talent and entrepreneurship. He is the executive director of Sónar Festival, a pioneering urban festival that takes place annually in Barcelona since 1994, and has expanded internationally to 65 cities around the world. He is also the co-founder of Sónar+D, a congress of creativity, technology and business that runs concurrently to the Barcelona festival and other events throughout the year. In addition, Ventura is a partner of a global education group that offers digital learning and transformation programs, and a shareholder and board member of an artisan bread company. Ventura holds a degree in law from the University of Barcelona, and a master degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
