As AppDev, Reports and Advanced Analytics Manager, I oversee development on wide range of critical enhancements to the Ohio Benefits application and its allied systems. This work includes enhancing and maintaining the core Ohio Benefits application, Reporting solutions and Childcare portal. As a key member of the DAS leadership liaising with stakeholders on the Ohio Benefits Program, I play a major role in developing, reviewing and managing the program roadmap to ensure the overall alignment with the organizational goals. In addition, I provide technical guidance and operational support for multiple areas including but not limited to middleware and infrastructure upgrades; migration of the data inventory to the IOP platform; new interfaces onboarding and setupAs the delivery Lead for the Ohio Business Intelligence project, successfully created an integrated, enterprise approach for accessing and sharing information across all of State of Ohio’s health and human service programs. Reporting and analytics will be significantly facilitated by the integration of Medicaid Claims, Managed Care and financials, expanded eligibility (Ohio Benefits), pharmacy, Medicare and other state agency data sources into the HHS Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This solution included implementation of advanced reporting and analytical tools including SAS, Cognos, Tableau, Quality decision support system (QDSS by Truven) integration and data exchange. As a Tech Arch Lead for the Ohio Benefits project, which is a largest state project ever, which replaced the current eligibility system and Client Registry information system (CRIS-E) now capable of supporting state and county operations) managed entire technical architecture and operations teams. This new system also brought Ohio into compliance with federal Medicaid requirements and provide the flexibility to more easily align with future regulatory requirements. This system also can easily detect instances of fraud, abuse and waste.

Reporting directly to the CIO, manages 20 direct reports and about 40 + indirect reports. Developed a strong technical team which maintains 35 applications including Medicaid Billing System (MBS –SAAS), Medicaid Services System (MSS - .NET), DODD Portal (external facing SharePoint, ADFS and FIM) and others.Also working as a Lead Architect played a big role in the implementation of an award winning CRM solution that helps streamline service delivery with discovery, planning and supports on the foundation of common sense, respect, empowerment and collaboration for 90,000+ DD individuals in the state of OHIO.By leading a dedicated security team, implemented an award winning solution to improve application security, increase efficiency of administration, increase visibility of security access, move the environment toward web security standards, and promote efficient uses of identity information with reasonable path to adaption. • Worked with business to deliver a consistent customer service experience.• Improved the support turnaround time to 1/4th of the predecessor by implementing agile methodology using Team foundation server.• Lead the effort to implement data security tracking (Sentrigo software) by following CMS guide lines.• Also lead the effort to develop DODD’s mobile strategy and implementation of DODD's first mobile application.• Helped improve application’s performance, by formatting a dedicated performance optimization team. • Developed a multi tier support structure to handle issues effectively and efficiently.

• One of the key players of MRDD/DODD IT redesigning effort started 4 years ago by helping senior management to achieve their vision by making DODD as one of the premier IT departments in the state of Ohio.• Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of multiple web-based systems which govern individual data, provider certification, cost projection, authorization and claims payment of Medicaid IO and Level 1 waiver services.• Heavily involved in the consolidation effort to make all DODD applications in to three distinctly defined pillars (Individual, Provider and county Board) • One of the 3 technical leads for the development of Medicaid Services System (MSS) which has over 3,500 users, projects costs for 24,000 waiver recipients and authorizes over a billion dollars in costs per year. Worked with business owner to develop functionality based roles. Helped infrastructure to setup and fine-tune the load balancer (coyote and well as F5) with load testing.• Lead Provider Certification Wizard and Licensure Development wizard to a successful completion. Lead the planning and implementation effort to convert provider data to the new format.• One of the core team members of a large scale county collaborative project (electronic individual data systems) to define person centric thinking, planning and IT approach with stake holders and product owner.• One of the key members in DODD to adapt and customize scrum and agile methodology to the departmental needs. • Lead the effort to successfully redesign the electronic billing system to help providers and billing agents upload their claims and check status.
