Sr Software Backend Engineer - took care of creating couple of microservices for a new feature - Sell It Now (SNOW).

Product: Enterprise Risk Solutions (ERS) - Scenario AnalyzerLead architect on Enterprise Risk Solutions product Scenario Analyzer, which enables financial entities implement transparent and repeatable stress testing processes that integrate data, models, and reports.• Implemented in an open architecture with various forecasting model catalogs, which allows integration and validation of models developed within and other products. Users can orchestrate different tasks using internally developed Workflow framework.• Lead and managed the product development team through three releases.• Developed usingJava, with Oracle backend and Spring framework, and supported various OS platforms and installation stacks, including AWS. Packaged application for QA testing using Spring Boot with Jetty container. • Fine-tuned application performance by distributing the processing logic to different modules, which can be further fine-tuned by clients• Consumed/provided REST/SOAP services between different products within/outside of Moody’s solutions.• Have been liaison between engineering, product, project, clients during different phases of development.• Developed a lighter version of the product on Apache Spark/HDFS framework, to pave the way for moving the entire product on to next generation platform.
