Vera is an authentic, service-oriented, positive disruptor with experience in elementary, post-secondary and provincial education systems. Areas of expertise include assessment literacy, instructional intelligence and inclusive design. Digital fluency is a key interest and an area of emerging strength and leadership. CRRP is a critical component of any project Vera leads, as is evidenced in her local and international experience. Fluent in English and German, she is working on learning Spanish. In her spare time, Vera enjoys writing, making music, being silly with her young adult twins, flying small airplanes and volunteering with stray dogs in Mexico and new Canadians. She has recently started taking fiddle lessons. Additional personal goals include learning Salsa, Argentinian Tango, and Tai Chi. Some opportunities to work remotely enable Vera to divide her time between PEI, Canada, and Guayabitos, Mexico. Hospitality, humour, tactical thinking and a passion for collaborative organizational excellence drive both Vera's personal and her professional endeavors.
