This position oversees the planning and coordination of export-specific shipment schedules in order to achieve specific scorecard goals.Arranges and coordinates all shipping activities with truckers, ocean carriers, container freight stations, and freight forwarders, making most effective use of all transportation expenses; Serves as the focal resource point for all external and interdepartmental use of freezer activities and information.Monitors and coordinates shipping activities at various export shipping locations.Audits various freight invoices related to international shipments; Continuously seeks better processes and more efficient shipping lanes. Running reports, maintain various databases, and spreadsheets. Assists in the supervision and training of other team members in the department.

Managing inventory within the distribution center campus and OCS facilities. Monitoring inventory level within the four walls of the distribution center.Building deployment loads withing the network.Identifying shortages and work on supply planning to minimize occurrence. Collaborating with supply planning, inventory control, transportation, warehouses and third-party logistics (OCS).

Coordinate with sales team to advise and distribute orders to freezer facilities to ensure desired product is prepped for export.Secure and coordinate loading appointments with freezer facility and port, and instruct carrier of loading processes to ensure carrier compliance to Tyson policy.Utilize SAP to manage shipments and disseminate critical information to our sales and accounting teams to ensure order to cash cycle efficiency.Plan and route transportation of goods via ocean by working with designated steamship lines, carriers, freight forwarders.Prepare/Review documentation to ensure completion and compliance for export shipments.

Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional communications.Provide excellent customer service to include shipment tracking, and customer complaint resolution.Contact carriers to obtain the status of shipments and monitor shipments for on-time pick-up, transit and delivery.Analyzing all operations and reporting KPI metrics to operations manager.Set appointments with shippers, receivers.

Coordinate multiple extensive and complex domestic and international travels.Manage complex global calendars, email Inboxes, scheduling high-level meetings with a large number of high profile participants.Coordinate large-scale events, conferences adhering to the meetings policies.Process financial documents including contracts, expense reports, invoices.

Create and maintain office forms to assist with administrative tasks.Provide administrative support to team members.Schedule meetings, resolve schedule conflicts.
