• Built an option-pricing web application with other two teammates on Finastra’s cloud platform, which contains data processing, data visualisation and option pricing modules. This application allows the user to input attributes of an option (e.g. underlying stock, strike price and maturity), visualise the historical prices of the underlying, get the estimated option price and obtain optimal strike price or coupon with a limited budget.• Implemented the core pricing module using Geometric Brownian motion and Monte Carlo method for different kinds of options. • Implemented the solving module, which allows the user to optimise his investments by providing a strike price or coupon of an option within his budget.• Used parallel computation to boost the calculation performance and achieved high reusability and flexibility since all the modules can be called by RESTful APIs.

• Proposed redesigning remote identification process to improve user experience and reduce Tencent’s workload. The company approved my proposal after I gave a careful explanation in a presentation.• Helped revise Tencent Cloud Financial Solutions’ official website by rebuilding its overall framework and choosing what content should be featured to make the advantages of its services clearer.• Learned that effective communication is critical to being a great professional and understood the importance of finding a balance that accounts for everyone's interests and backgrounds.
