About Vera Karin Tomatis

I have a Degree in Psychology & Masters Degree in Human Resources from Surrey University in UK, and over 10 years of international executive search experience developed in London, Milan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Mixed Italian/German/Filipino with international upbringing I love to talk to interesting and inspiring people and keeping my network active, no matter where I am in the world!My inhouse recruitment experiences were in scaling up for start ups for new ventures globally. Ex Lazadian (Rocket) in Singapore by recruiting most BCG, McKinseys etc to develop the Asian operations in 2014 and for Lalamove, the tech delivery Hong Kong unicorn while being part of the strategic expansion team of new markets in 2019.In 2021 I relocated back to Italy 🇮🇹 for my maternity break and worked free lance for a German executive search company finding exceptional talent for world wide start ups across the digital space. My last full time work experience was as Talent Acquisition for Agoda helping recruit the best Design profiles for their HQ in Bangkok.Currently am Head of HR and Operations for a small private company based out of Dubai.
