To study what kind of social practices occur and influence the transition towards innovative fishing gears from the experience of fishers An analysis of the gear transition towards the pulse trawl and twin rig technique in the Dutch demersal fleet. Interviewing 15-20 Dutch fishers that made the transition towards either pulse trawl or twin rig and analysing how this transition occurred from the fishers experience.From the results there can be concluded that technical transitions are not solely influenced by economic factors. Fishers take other factors, such as social, regulatory and even environmental into account. It appeared that technical transitions are not only carried out on board, on shore was a valuable site where information and knowledge was shared between fishers and other stakeholders. Social knowledge sharing eventually pushed the adaptation phase.

ThisFish is a project of the non-profit organisation Ecotrust Canada, based in Vancouver. ThisFish is an online seafood traceability tool that connects fishermen with consumers. A standard improvement research was conducted that resulted in several recommendations for the improvement of ThisFish's standards. Having and improving standards is important for the transparency, credibility and accessibility of the seafood traceability tool. I gained a lot of knowledge about the problems in the seafood value chain, including illegal fishing and mislabelling, and how seafood traceability can combat these problems. Also, my research dealt with the auditing and chain of custody procedures of ThisFish and how these standards increase credibility, accessibility and transparency in the seafood supply chain.

Responsible for the organisation of the annual dies play of the drama association 'Pierrot et Colombine'. along with two other students. As a treasurer I was responsible for the budget plan and the ticket sale. Together with two other students we arranged the promotion, scenery, costumes and location of the play. This was the first time the drama association performed a second play next to their annual play in the summer. The play was called 'Buren' and performed twice visited by 200 people. Responsible for the development of the annual yearbook of the Wageningse student association Ceres along with five board members, being the representative of the editorial office, leading meetings and coordinating the group processes. Together with the board members we designed the book, made up a theme of the book and arranged sponsorship. 4 months full-time

Responsible for the production of an outdoor drama play together with a board of five members, being the representative of the drama association and coordinating the group processes. Together with the board we arranged the promotion, scenery, location, costume and budget plan of the play. The play was performed outside at the 'Arboretum Belmonte' park and there were a total of 7 performances visited by over 500 people. Part-time, next to study

I was the internal and external contact person of the film and photo commission of the Wageningse Student Association Ceres. I was responsible for notes during meetings and administration. The commission is responsible for taking, editing and archiving all the photo and film content of the association. Part-time, next to study
