I graduated from the University of Connecticut in August of 2012. During my time there I earned a Bachelors of the Arts in Economics. In September I began interning at The Wall Street Journal DC Bureau as a participant of the National Journalism Center's Fall Journalism internship program lasting 10 weeks. After the National Journalism Center's program ended, I was asked to stay with the bureau until mid-January. I was then selected to participate in the Institute for Humane Studies Journalism program with a placement with Reason Magazine during the spring of 2013. Shortly after a 3 month internship with Reason through IHS, I was offered a an internship through the Koch Internship Program with a placement at the Mercatus Center; a University based research center (affiliated with George Mason University in Virginia), for the Summer of 2013. I currently work as a Program Associate on Financial Markets and Health Care at the Mercatus Center as a part of the Koch Associate Program.
