Anyone who knows me well would tell you that I get deeply excited about learning new things and that I'm ever-expanding myself through my interests. The thread that has run through all my professional interests has been a desire to understand the human experience and to support others in their authentic purpose. For the past few years, I've worn 2 hats. The first is as a brand strategist who uses qualitative research methods to support meaningful organizational storytelling. In this role, I pop the hood of a company to understand what sets them apart and why their people keep showing up every day to participate in their shared purpose.The second is as a Board Certified Coach specializing in helping women to release trauma and grief while regaining authentic power. My work bridges psychology and embodiment using many tools, including mindfulness and meditation, nervous system regulation, yoga, and energy psychology. Where my focus for many years prior was on career, I now explore purpose at the soul level because I've come to understand that, at the end of the day, we're all just trying to find our way home to ourselves.In service of my Coaching work, I've authored a read-aloud book that offers children and their families mindful strategies to support healing after the loss of a baby sibling, as well as two healing affirmation card decks for grieving women and mamas (www.veravchapman.com/light-in-loss).If I can be helpful to you in any of these capacities, please don't hesitate to reach out.
