Along a rich and varied career path that has taken me from Capitol Hill to The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater to a small private liberal arts college in New England and a internationally lauded African-American cultural institution, I have excelled in program development, teaching inside and outside the classroom and creating brave spaces where unlikely groups of people build communities that get important work done for the greater good.
